Macmillan Information and Support Centre

We are Macmillan Cancer Support

The Macmillan Information and Support Centre is situated in the main Concourse at University Hospital of Wales. Staff and volunteers at the Centre are happy to provide a wide range of assistance and support for:

  • people living with or beyond a cancer diagnosis
  • families and carers of those affected by cancer
  • anyone seeking information about cancer.

The Centre also caters for members of the public who wish to find out more about healthy lifestyles, specific health issues/conditions, screening, health promotion or related issues such as benefits, support groups, counselling and carers information. Patients with life-limiting conditions are welcome to access the service.

The Centre is open from 6.00am to 10.00pm, seven days a week.  Staff and volunteers are generally available Monday to Friday from 9.00am to 12.30pm and 1.00pm to 4.00pm.
