Library Services - Cardiff University

Welcome to the Cardiff University Library Service which provides health information to support patient care and training and education. The Library Service is available to Cardiff and Vale University Health Board (UHB), Velindre NHS Trust as well as the University. All staff employed by Cardiff and Vale UHB, and GPs working in the Cardiff area, are entitled to join the Library Service. Library Services - Royal College of Nursing (RCN)

The RCN Library services are the largest nursing specific resource in the world, with access to thousands of books and journals, both online and in print, as well as key nursing databases and a comprehensive enquiry service.

The RCN Wales Library and Information Service is based at Ty Maeth, on the site of the University Hospital of Wales in Cardiff. Professional library staff offer a friendly and dedicated service for RCN members in Wales. The library provides access to a wide range of learning and information resources, including access to a core nursing book and journal collection.

Dedicated member PCs are available to access the internet and use key health databases, or members can take advantage of information training or a literature search service.
